When communities come together, schools thrive
Each year, Modern Woodmen rallies members across the country around a single community cause, concentrating funding and volunteer power where it can do the most good.
Choosing one cause each year helps us act together – supporting local efforts with national momentum. Past efforts have addressed mental health, financial literacy and animal needs.
Modern Woodmen’s All in for Education initiative is dedicated to uplifting schools, educators and students in communities across the country. Members will give back to schools through hands-on service, donations of supplies and heartfelt recognition of staff.

Check out just some of the good our members have been doing this year!
Hickory, North Carolina: Chapter members honored a longtime custodian at Southwest Primary School with the Hometown Hero award. The award honors her commitment and service to the children and community. They also brought treats for the staff to enjoy.
Rock Island, Illinois: Members set up a cart with coffee, cookies and pizza at schools across the Quad Cities to honor teachers and staff for all they do for the community. They also dropped off book donations for their classrooms!
Syracuse, Utah: The local chapter organized a mindfulness corner for the elementary school. They filled bins and shelves full of calming items – like coloring books, fidget toys and more!

Spring, Texas: Chapter members brought a chocolate fountain to the local middle school to show appreciation for teachers and staff. Members assisted with the preparation of the fountain items, served and helped clean up.
Colorado Springs, Colorado: Modern Woodmen representatives and their families from around the state gathered to construct an outdoor learning center for Trailblazer Elementary School. The center gives students a space to spend time learning outside the classroom walls and a place to eat lunch outside on nice days.
