Modern Woodmen is proud to partner with Wreaths Across America to support their mission to remember, honor and teach. This initiative offers meaningful opportunities for members to get involved locally and nationally.
For engagement leads
Help make Wreaths Across America a meaningful day of remembrance, service and connection. As an engagement lead, you'll help bring members, families and guests together to honor our nation's veterans and support your local Wreaths Across America event.
Your role:
- Serve as the primary Modern Woodmen contact for your assigned site and partner with the local Wreaths Across America coordinator.
- Promote participation in the member gathering and wreath-laying event.
- Attend engagement lead webinars, stay informed on event details, and complete any required follow-up and reporting.

For regional directors and administrative assistants
Your support helps create a successful Wreaths Across America experience across the region. From identifying local leaders to encouraging participation, you play an important role in bringing people together for this day of remembrance.
How you can help:
- Identify and support an Engagement Lead for each designated site.
- Share event information and encourage participation throughout your region.
- Encourage financial representatives, leaders and members to get involved.
- Support and attend your regional member gathering and wreath-laying event.
- Help ensure registration details and event information are communicated clearly.

For leaders
Don't see a Modern Woodmen-sponsored location nearby? Your chapter or club can still participate by hosting a service project or activity in your community. Eligible expenses may be reimbursed through the regular chapter activity process.
How you can help:
- Join volunteers on Dec. 19 to place wreaths at a Modern Woodmen-sponsored location.
- Attend and promote the member gathering.
- Invite members, family, friends and guests to join you.
- Share photos, stories and memories from the day. Don't forget to tag Modern Woodmen on social media.
- Encourage your chapter or youth service club to honor local veterans in your community.
