James (Jim) E. Temperley, Bonita Springs, Florida, appointed.
Gary L. Medd, Davenport, Iowa, will retire from the Modern Woodmen of America Board of Directors effective Feb. 1. James (Jim) E. Temperley, Bonita Springs, Florida, has been appointed to fill the board position.
Medd has served on the board of directors since October 2013 and was a member of Modern Woodmen’s Audit Committee, Compensation Committee, and chair of the Nominating Committee. He retired from Deere & Company in 2012 as vice president of Internal Audit.
Temperley retired from Deere & Company as vice president and comptroller in December 2016. In that role, his responsibilities included external and internal financial reporting, management reporting and technical accounting. He also took part in many of John Deere’s international operations.
